2. How does Dolphin Park and Ride work?

Arrive at our car park, choose your parking space, keep your keys, and hop on the shuttle to the cruise terminal. After your cruise, call the pickup number in your confirmation, and we collect you and bring you back to your car.

3. How much does Southampton Park and Ride cost?

Parking starts from £79. Pricing varies based on cruise duration and seasonal demand. There are no hidden fees — the price includes parking and shuttle transfers.

4. Is Park and Ride cheaper than parking at Southampton cruise terminal?

Yes. Port parking is typically more expensive and involves walking with luggage. Park and Ride is usually the most cost-effective option and includes free shuttle transfers.

5. When should I book parking for my cruise?

We recommend booking as soon as you've confirmed your cruise. Spaces are limited per sailing and can sell out during peak months

6. How long does the shuttle take from the car park to the cruise terminal?

Approximately 8–12 minutes depending on traffic.

7. Is the shuttle included in the parking price?

Yes. Shuttle both ways is included — no additional charges.

8. Where do I meet the shuttle on return?

After disembarking, call the number in your confirmation message. We will direct you to the pickup point.

9. Do I keep my keys?

Yes. You park your car and keep your keys with you. Your vehicle stays exactly where you leave it.

10. Is my car safe while parked?

Yes. The car park is monitored, insured, and only accessible to authorised staff and booked customers.

11. Do you move my car while I’m away?

No. Unlike valet services, we never move customers’ cars.

12. Can I park an SUV, large car or van?

Yes. Please mention vehicle type during booking so we can allocate a space.

13. How close is the car park to Southampton Cruise Terminal?

We are located a short distance away, and the shuttle handles the final leg. You won’t need to walk with luggage.

14. Will I receive arrival instructions and a map?

Yes. After booking, you receive a confirmation email with address, map, GPS link, and arrival instructions.

15. What happens if my cruise returns late?

We monitor cruise schedules. If your return time falls outside standard hours, call the pickup number, and we will arrange your shuttle.

16. Can I change or cancel my booking?

Yes. You can modify or cancel based on the terms shown during booking. Details are included in your confirmation email.

17. What documents do I need on arrival?

Just your booking confirmation (on phone or printed).

18. What payment methods do you accept?

Not currently, but nearby hotels sometimes offer stay-and-park packages. We focus solely on secure long-stay Park & Ride parking.
